Information We Collect

Account and profile information

We may collect names, usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords or authentication records, profile photos, biographies, preferences, account roles, and other information submitted when creating or maintaining an account.

Transactions and subscriptions

We collect records relating to purchases, subscriptions, tips, refunds, chargebacks, payouts, invoices, and transaction status. Payment card information is generally submitted directly to payment processors and is handled under their own privacy and security practices. FanScenes may receive limited payment details such as transaction identifiers, card brand, last four digits, billing status, and fraud-screening results.

Creator, performer, and casting information

Creators, performers, and casting applicants may provide legal names, dates of birth, contact information, location, experience, availability, appearance information, boundaries, interests, compensation expectations, tax information, payout information, signed agreements, government identification, identity-verification selfies, headshots, casting profile photos, and additional-performer documentation.

Content and communications

We may process posts, photos, videos, thumbnails, comments, likes, messages, reports, support requests, moderation records, and other content or communications submitted through FanScenes.

Device, security, and usage information

We may collect IP addresses, browser and device details, login history, timestamps, referring pages, cookie or session identifiers, security events, error logs, and information about how the service is used.

How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

• Create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts.
• Provide subscriptions, purchases, creator content, messaging, comments, and community features.
• Process payments, refunds, chargebacks, creator earnings, and payouts.
• Review creator, performer, and casting eligibility; verify identity and age; administer agreements; and coordinate approved productions.
• Prevent fraud, payment-card testing, account abuse, unauthorized access, spam, malware, and other harmful conduct.
• Moderate content, investigate reports, enforce policies, and respond to legal or safety concerns.
• Send transactional, security, support, and service-related communications.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve FanScenes.
• Comply with legal, accounting, tax, recordkeeping, and regulatory obligations.

How Information Is Disclosed

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the service, including to:

• Service providers: hosting, content delivery, cloud storage, email delivery, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, analytics, customer support, and professional advisers.
• Creators and users: information intentionally made visible through profiles, posts, comments, purchases, subscriptions, or other community interactions.
• Business and legal recipients: regulators, courts, law enforcement, rights holders, auditors, insurers, attorneys, accountants, or parties to a business transaction when disclosure is required or reasonably necessary.
• Safety and enforcement recipients: where we believe disclosure is needed to protect a person, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or address illegal activity.

FanScenes does not publicly display government identification, identity-verification selfies, tax forms, or private verification records. We do not use those documents as public profile or promotional content.

Identity, Age, Tax, and Casting Records

Identity and age documents are used to review eligibility, confirm that participants are adults, prevent impersonation, support applicable recordkeeping, and protect the safety and integrity of the platform. These records may be stored in restricted private cloud storage separate from public site media.

Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers with an operational need. Verification records are not added to public profiles, feeds, or the WordPress Media Library. Applicants and creators should never send government identification through ordinary email or public messaging unless FanScenes provides a specifically approved secure method.

Tax and payout records may be retained as required for accounting, payment, dispute, and legal purposes.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

FanScenes and its providers may use essential cookies, local storage, session technologies, and similar tools to keep users signed in, remember preferences, operate shopping and subscription functions, prevent fraud, measure performance, and maintain security. Browser settings may allow users to block or delete some technologies, but essential site features may stop working correctly.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, complete transactions, resolve disputes, investigate abuse, enforce agreements, preserve evidence, and satisfy tax, accounting, legal, safety, and recordkeeping requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. Deleting an account does not always require immediate deletion of records that must be retained for legitimate or legal reasons.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These may include restricted access, secure connections, private storage, access logging, authentication controls, backups, and fraud-prevention measures. No website, storage service, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, devices, email accounts, and authentication methods. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where a person lives and which laws apply, they may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal information; to object to or limit certain processing; or to appeal a privacy decision. Legal exceptions may apply, including where records must be retained for transactions, safety, fraud prevention, legal claims, tax obligations, or performer recordkeeping.

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of certain sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment when exercising applicable rights.

Adults Only

FanScenes is not directed to minors and does not permit anyone under 18 to create an account, submit an application, appear in content, purchase content, or use adult features. If we learn that a minor has provided information, we may restrict the account, preserve information needed for safety or legal review, remove information where appropriate, and report suspected exploitation to the proper authorities.

Third-Party Services and Links

FanScenes may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies. Review those policies before submitting information to an outside service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, technology, or legal requirements change. The updated date shown above identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or account contact information when appropriate.
